Gaining the Benefits of Improved Health Data Qualityi~HD is pleased to announce its third major two-day workshop for hospitals, with the theme "Gaining the Benefits of Improved Health Data Quality". This event will take place in Paris on March 5-6, 2018 and is being organised in collaboration with the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement, the European Patients´ Forum, EFPIA, ICON and AP-HP (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris, our host). The workshop is driven by the i~HD Task Force Data Quality and the i~HD Hospital Network Steering Committee. Building on two previous successful events, day 1 of this event will focus on the practical use of good quality health data to monitor and improve outcomes, international standards for clinical outcomes and the importance of patient reported outcomes. Day 2 will focus on developing business cases for the return on investments made by hospitals in advanced EHR systems and improving data quality. The i~HD Data Quality Task Force will demonstrate the latest data quality assessment tools for use by hospitals, along with our newly developed standard operating procedures for improving hospital data quality. The new i~HD European Data Quality Service, due for launch in 2018, will be presented. Come and join us there!
